"How are your exercises going?"

This is the often repeated question you will be asked by your physical therapist and with good reason-doing your home exercise program (HEP) is just as important to your recovery as coming in for your therapy appointment. This article has 4 tips to help you make your Physical Therapy visits and HEP the most effective.


The best advice we can give is to make a plan for when how and when you are going to do your exercises- plan to do them before bed, during commercials while you are watching TV in the evening or while you are on your lunch break at work. Your therapist will help you to create a program tailored to your specific needs and that you can actually commit to.
